An often overlooked vacation resource is the timeshare rental market. Many timeshare owners who are unable to utilize their vacation ownership offer their timeshare units to be rented. When compared to a hotel rental not only are the savings unmatched, but the spacious accommodations a timeshare unit offers versus a hotel room are incomparable. Most timeshare units are identical to condominiums with separate living, dining and sleeping quarters and are typically stocked with all the necessary appliances, flatware, and linens, to make timeshare vacation stays much more comfortable than a typical hotel room. Plus, timeshare renters can stock the fridge, prepare their own meals and dine in to further extend their savings. Timeshare resorts also provide the same luxuries that fine hotels do, so room service, valet, restaurants, excursions and even the often needed spa treatments are almost always readily available.
